Since its Roman founding in AD 46, London has survived conquests, wars, plagues, and a couple fires that all but destroyed the entire city. Today, London has never been stronger and its history is reflected in its beauty, culture and traditions found everywhere. It is home to four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a number of world class museums (with free admission), and the only place where you can ride the Routemaster doubledecker bus on the wrong side of the road. London has an atmosphere and buzz incomparable to anywhere else in the world.
