Check out this handsome little guy. His grandmother commissioned me to create a photo book for her daughter as a Christmas gift and these were the album spreads that went to print. His daddy is a fisherman so there was no better place to start then by the pier in the Old Port. We had a little adventure as we toured the area and then walked over to the Narrow Gauge Railroad for a change of scenery. Dylan is certainly one special guy with those big blue eyes, sweet smile and personality like no other. The pictures turned out amazingly and the book was simply stunning.
Love Maine! We had perfect weather all week. Perfect. This year we got a place right on the sea on the Schoodic Peninsula in Gouldsboro, Maine. The cottage was absolutely delightful with sea views everywhere, sea sounds all day, hammocks, and all the comforts of a well kept home. The kids had a blast playing in the rocky beach, finding sea glass and collecting mussels for dinner. Yup, and we actually ate them too! The Schoodic section of Acadia is gorgeous and deserves the 50 minute ride from Mount Desert Island. It was a week of great everything. We will be back!!!
Pose practice! Rachel is a natural.
Our first evening with stunning views all around.
Well deserved ice cream cones.
A Downeast Lobstah.
This was not posed. Her normal attitude!
Mussels picked by my boy. He loved them too!
I rested the camera on a rock for this one. 5 second exposure (or something like that).
I love Peaks Island, especially for photo sessions! Here I am with the Nguyen’s, they picked me up from the boat with their rent-a-golf-cart and took me on an island photo adventure. Stop here, stop there – we got out got the shots and then back in and drove around a bit more. I think we all had a blast and got some amazing photos of this beautiful family too. Congratulations to the Nguyen’s as any day now they will have a new arrival. These images make me smile! 🙂
